The basic principle of the Lecher antenna:
Each arm held by the operator is connected to a closed circuit on which a slider moves to make contact. The entire setup thus forms a closed circuit that is powered by the operator (who is himself an antenna that is more or less sensitive to cosmotelluric energies). The slider allows the wavelength to be adjusted within the 9-gigahertz band. The graduated scale allows the user to set the exact wavelength being sought. Since the loop is closed, electromagnetic energy is converted into mechanical energy. The antenna must be held in equilibrium so that even the slightest impulse causes a disruption of that equilibrium.
A very weak emission in the energy field of whatever is being tested triggers a reaction and causes the antenna to lose its balance.
All forms, objects, or materials in the universe have a variable energy field whose electrical component propagates infinitely. This extremely weak field, detected by the antenna, is amplified by the human body, which reacts with an infinitesimal impulse sufficient to disrupt the antenna’s equilibrium and cause it to tip or pivot.
The LECHER EDD System (EDD Design) Antenna:
EDD is now offering the third generation of the Lecher antenna, featuring the following improvements:
- Removal of the magnetized metal rod from the hollow arm.
- Improved energy continuity within the antenna.
- Standardization of the brass throughout the
- Installation of a brass contact ring on the base. (Improves sensitivity when using the hammer.)
- Knurling of the rod locking nuts.
Weight:
- Lecher antenna: 110 g
- Hammer: 55 g
